Join us for an exciting opportunity to explore career paths with leading German companies! Our career fair is tailored specifically for students interested in discovering diverse job opportunities and gaining valuable insights into the professional world. While these careers fairs are primarily intended to aid high school juniors and seniors studying high school German, all high school and college students are welcome to participate.
What to Expect:
- Interactive Booths: Engage directly with representatives from universities offering German programs and with German companies that hire candidates with German language proficiency. Learn about their industries, job roles, and the skills required for success.
- Networking Opportunities: Connect with professionals and peers who share your interests. Expand your network and discover opportunities to guide you through your career exploration.
- Language Immersion: Immerse yourself in the German language and culture. Practice your language skills in a supportive environment and enhance your competitiveness in the global job market.
Career Day 2022 was attended by over 320 students from 16 Wisconsin high schools and afforded these students a unique opportunity to understand their options with regard to studying German at the college level, study abroad programs, internships and ultimately the careers available to them upon graduation. Booths were hosted by 20 exhibitors, and visited by students, their teachers, and school to work staff.
